i got an error?

i got this error when i was trying to install java 2 runtime enviornment, se v1.4.2_05install
the error says: Erroe 1327. invalid drive D:\

K HERE ARE MY DRIVES;
my system drive is (E)
my drive for random things is (C)
my drive for games is (f)
my Floopy is (A)
dvd rom is (G)
dvd-R is (h)

i have 2 drives that are partioned and that is my system drive and my games drive there both one hard drive
and my c drive is another hard drive?? anyone got any ideas please help

i might have missed something, but what is your d drive?

 

the thing is i dont have a drive (D) thats why i confused

 

unless i'm horribly mistaken, you should AUTOMATICALLY have a d drive, as thc computer assigns them from a on up, with a reserved for fdd and b reserved for those really old floppies. so something is taking up that slot but not showing up in 'my computer'?

 

He may not have a drive D if he has manually assigned drive letters. Which he must have done something like that to have his system drive to be E:.

Make sure you have the right version, there are different java installers to choose from.
