I got banned from a forum today

Yep, thats right. I got banned.

Why?

Because I made a suggestion.

Not an unreasonable one, since these mods were so totally obsessed with using the search function of vB, just about ANY thread that was started would have a reply by a mod saying "F***ing search you dumbass!!"....

so, I suggested that they have a link to a guide on how to search. There alrady was one, but I never knew it was there. I searched, and didnt find it. I looked, and didnt find it.

Then one of the mods told me that I was blind for missing it

So, I got insulted, and banned. LOL, some forums are better than others.....

 

I would have banned you too.. but that's because I've seen your post content before.. you dirty perv you.. pfffft

 

Ban him from this one too.

 

I got booted from ebay for saying some nasty things to another bidder. After the bid closed, some messages were exchanged, things got ugly, and of course I was the one to go over the top and say some really stupid things just to have the last word. They reported me and, oh well.

But he started it!

Sucks because I had a lot of feedback. Now I'm starting from scratch.

Oh well, I used to just shoot my mouth off. Now my keyboard gets me into trouble.

some admins have power trips and will ban people just because they think it makes them special.

I regret to inform you that your keyboard is an inanimate , nonsentient object that cannot perform thought functions. It requires input from a sentient being (you, I hope) and thus the being at the control of the object is the sole being responsible for the input.

 

Well, that kinda justifies it really.

My point was someone banned me for making a suggestion on how to have less problems. I wasn't trying to do their job for them, I was making a suggestion.

I wasn't rude to anyone either.

Heck, I didn't even swear.

But, really, I was expecting it. The mods there beat people up for starting practically any topic there is to be discussed, at all. Both the topics (yes, there were only 2) got closed, simply because someone had a slightly similar problem before, which wasn't at all related to the context.

Fair enough, I expect them to be a bit quick off the bat when it comes to some things (a lot of questions there do get repeated), but really...

Goldy, I don't know you and you don't know me too well but I will say this with all my sincerity, why do you waste your time/talent at a loser site like that one?

But if you say it is a silly addiction then I must say, don't worry, there are tons more out there for you to get banned from!

 

Because it had somthing I wanted in it. (some expert information). Its a shame nobody wanted to give it to me :/
