I Got Small Nibbles.........

4 days of fishin and nothin to show for it but a sense of well being. Fished hard the whole time, but sorry to say I only caught small bass and walleye. Nothing worth taking pics of. It was relaxing in the boat and in front of the campfire with a few tastys at night though, so the trip was worth it. I figured out what the problem was on the last day. I didn't have Phantom's special ultra-top secret lures. I hope smt had better luck than I did.

 

Small nibbles... that's my kind of fishing.

Thanks G.T. It was great to get away for a while without the tv, pewter, and phone. We fished hard and played hard at night. I'm kinda glad to be back though, I need the rest.

Good to get away from them from time to time.

 

Trip starts next week. I have to come back out for two days, but then I return to the cabin. I intend to catch the biggest fish around. I will post pics.

Sorry to hear luck failed you in the water. Sounds like you had a pleasant trip regardless. Seems your more relaxed.

Glad to hear you had fun. It sux you didnt hook into any big. As they say muskys are the fish of 1000 casts. You wont hook into one everytime.

ps. i scaned these printed blocks we have of the muskies we caught. they came out terrable. I cant seem to find the original pictures, so srry about that.

I should have some new fresh pics when i go up to eagle river in the fall.

Hmm, my only experience of fishing is with an old befuddled grandpa (well, great grandpa actually) in scottland who owns his own salmon river thing. Its not very interesting, lol!
