    Way back in 2002 I was on dialup. I didn't browse much because the phone line would be tied up. I'd download email with my installed Juno program then read it and compose answers. I'd dial back in and sent the emails.

    @Eldon - I never forget the forums, brother. ;)

    plodr - I take great pride in KNOWING what 'baud' means. Try coding this site up on a 28.8 shotgunned setup... Yeesh. We would get a 3d mark release and it would take a day or two to upload. :)

    I'll bet it was as interesting as watching paint dry, watching an upload go through! Everyone had patience in those days because if you wanted to be on the internet, waiting for everything was the only way.
