i hate my ipod

a few months ago i left for boot camp, and then my ipod was working perfectly. but now the damn thing doesn't work at all. at first it would turn on for a few seconds then shut off, but now it doesn't respond to anything. it won't charge and my computer doesn't recognize it. should i just break the damn thing or what?

Is it a ipod mini, and what generation. It is possible that the battery needs to be replaced, which means that you would have to send it to Apple to have it replaced.

Or check the charger is working borrow one to test and test your on someone elses
