I hate Windows 10...how do I get rid of it???

I have an ASUS Q500A. A few weeks before I purchased, the previous owner upgraded to 10. The original OS was win 8. I don't have anything on it I can't live without. How can I revert back to factory settings with the original OS? Thanks for any and all assistance!!

You could try the instructions here:

The "rollback" option is not available after 30 days, so a full factory reset is the only option. This will require quite a bit of updating after completion. Back up any data you want, and you will have to reinstall your applications.

Thank you very much. I have no data to back up, however, I do not know how to make sure network settings are correct. Could you advise? Please consider me a noobie first class and assume I am clueless...because I am.
