I have 2 wireless routers. One is transmitting, and the other is collecting dust in my closet. Can I use the one collecting dust, hook it up to my desktop and make it recieve signals?

you just want to have 2 access points for full coverage of your house right? all you have to do is plug a cat5 into a switch port, turn off the dhcp, turn on the wireless and you should be good to go. might have to change the wireless channel on there if you get interference.
