i have a few qustions about registry cleaners and web browsers

ok i have to reg cleaners one called RegCleanExpert and the other is called regcleaner. the first one is easy to use hase a back up tool and seams to work well and the second one i'm kinda scared to use it seams to be for more advanced users but probably gives me more controle over what it does.... i don't know if they are older reg cleaners or what does anyone know of them or use them? how often should you run a reg cleaner and (kinda stupid to ask) is there any serious damage i can do to my computer with them? my next qustion is not just about i.e. but about web browsers all around can a web browser help with internet speed? cause i have verizon yahoo dsl which i love not much slower then comcast cabel internet and alot cheaper anyway is there any tweeks i can do to help my internet run faster? and is mozilla that much better (not to sound all young ) but my mom said that she likes mozilla for the tabed browsing but verizons browser is tabed are there any other advanteges to useing mozilla? or anyother browser? and what do you guys think of pc.pitstop? they seem to have alot of cool software but you have to buy it for it to really do anything for you oh and i just thought of something els i was thinking about getting a driver updating programe do they do any good? or are they a wast of time ? cause pc.pitstop has one but you have to buy it for it to help you....... and i'm a tightwad i don't wana spend any more money on my pc then i have to ( after finding out that my radeon 9250 card i just got was an older card i wana know everything about anything i buy for my computer i swear i wana blow up circutcity ) but thats what i get for making an uninformed

I use RegCleanExpert to defrag the registry for quicker booting. It does not change or delete any entries.

If you have not loaded any new SW, there is no reason that I know of running any registry tool again. Registry cleaners can destroy your system if they delete the wrong lines. Most people say better to be safe than sorry with them.

As for driver updates, typically the rule for drivers is "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Probably the only exception to this is graphics drivers from the manufacturer (ATI in your case). Newer graphics drivers are sometimes released to improve performance. I don't beleive any new performance will be seen from newer drivers for the 9250 because that is an old card type.
