i have a question a bout yahoo instant messenger

    my question is simple is there a way to lower resources it needs it used to only need like 30k i think a few updates back now it needs anywhere from 41k to more often then not 64k in resources is there a way to lower the resources it needs since i think its beginning to bog down my system?

    it's been bloated for a few versions now. have you tried messenger alternatives? i've used pidgin and trillion before. you can include all of your IM accounts in one program.

    lol i only have a yahoo account and only the official messenger allows file transfer and picture sharing last i knew
