I have 2 hard drives on my computer but i have 3 drives showing in my computer. The third one, drive E, is empty and I don't see know need for it. It shows that it has 1.85 GB capacity. How can I get rid of it? I'm running windows 98. Thank You. Alex

GW, Are you running Drive Image by any chance? DI creates a backup partition so you can backup to it. Your Drive E is probably a partition on your main drive (C) as Microsoft unfortunately numbers the drives as C:, then D if you have a second drive then E if you partition C. If you disconnect your D drive you will see that "E" will revert to "D", unless of course you have partitioned your second drive at some time (as E). There are many programs to alter partitions but I will leave it to those with experience on deleting partitions to recommend something. Make sure you backup first, though, before fiddling with partitions. Bazza
