I Have Been An ATI Guy - What Drivers To Use For 7900 GS ?

I have been an ATI user for years. Not out of brand loyalty, but just as a matter of price, availiability, performance, needs, etc. So, my new rig will sport a new BFG 7900 GS PCI-E. I know ATI had some alternative drivers such as Omega. I can only deduct that Nvidia does too. If so, where might I find them? If not, is it best to stick to card manufacturer drivers?

Just use the latest Nvidia forceware, should be fine
their download page is 'undergoing maintenance' at the moment, so check back in a couple of days

theres a 'download drivers' link at the top of the page.
Also check out
http://www.bfgtech.com
and see if there is any updated software, bios etc for your card.

thats even the latest version, good stuff.
Cant believe how often they update it.... hard too keep up.
Guess I'll download it myself too.

 

Nvida tends to update there drivers a bit more frequently/support older cards with there newer drivers so theres really no reason not to use the official drivers. Ati has recently (last year or so) gotton much better but im my opinon has work to do in that department yet.
