This is my computer. Somehow I lost privileges and control. How do I get this back? I can't delete it, I can't get permission to take it over. I have had a lot of problems with blue screens and having to lot of logging in with repair mode.

I DO have teenagers. WHO is creator owner? Who is trusted installer? They are not me. I am Admin HUMC-03...Special Permission?

    trusted installer special permission
    system special permission
    system special permission
    Administrators (HUMC-03-PC\Administrators) special permission
    Administrators (HUMC-03-PC\Administrators) special permission
Users (HUMC-03-PC\Users) limited (Read and execute)
    creator owner special.

I just found out I cannot download any anti-spyware or anti-virus into my program files. I am scared since I have NO protection, nor am I allowed to download any protection and save it. It suggests doing so in my personal documents sections. Is this okay?

Is it your home computer or the computer in school? It looks like to me that the computer is in School. You may ask tech guy to take a look. hard to troublshoot here.

If you could please tell us exactly what problem you are having?
What do the error messages say exactly?
What are you trying to do when you get these error messages?
What is your Operating System & Service pack?
    How often do you get BSOD (blue screen) and the next time you get one can you get the STOP code? it looks something like this (highlighted in red);

I don't know much about permissions but this is what I do know,

    TrustedInstaller is Windows
    System is also Windows

Users, Admin & Creator were all created when you set up Windows (the initial user account).

If you are not familiar with it, do not change the permissions as changing the permissions on some (especially for Windows System files) can either corrupt your computer or leave it very insecure.

First, take dyamond's advice and stay away from altering your permissions. Trusted Installer and System are genuine and are there for your protection and proper operation of the computer.

Secondly, the "cannot download any anti-spyware" would concern me.

Can you visit microsoft.com? Typically virus/malware infected machines will be blocked from the sites where fixes/patches can be found. If you can't get to Microsoft's site I would suggest a visit to the Major Geeks Malware Forum, and specifically read the post READ & RUN ME FIRST before asking for the Jedis to help you.

It is a home computer, hard wired, with Windows 7. I paid a visit to Microsoft and it helped me uninstall part of AVG 2012. I got the computer from the engineering firm I work for. It had the capacity for AutoCAD, which I use here at home.
My computer does not like it if try to create a back up file.

I have had Windows restored to six months ago, I have been working to uninstall or delete a lot of junk.

I will get a blue screen with 0x000003b. After this I will try a restart. I am directed to start window normally or start up repair (recommended). I will choose repair, the bar on the bottom makes one swipe, then it shuts down. After 6-7 times it stays up for repair. It is very weird.

Not sure if the Canon printer stuff is causing problems or not. It seems folks have had issues.

Really confused. The IT person where i work checked the hardware and it seems to be fine. I am hoping for a solution without re-installing windows. That means AutoCAD needs to be re-installed...it is a very long process.

    Suggestions or advice?

    I have two options:

    Start up repair
    Start Windows Normally

6-7 times of this and i can and have chosen safe mode.
