i have lost a hard drive

    Some how i have lost 1 of my external hard drives.
    I hear the beep when i switch it on and just for a split second i see the blue circle (vista) that says it is loading it but then it does not show up in computer.
    If i use "CMD.EXE"in RUN i can see it but it is just labelled as 'disk-3-295gb' but i have no access to it.
    earlier it was labelled "local disk (I)"
    Any ideas please.

    OK guys n gals i got into it with Disk manager.:)
