I have no sound :(

I just did a complete system restore and now I don't have any sound. the volume is all the way up and everything.

I have an HP laptop and its running windows 7

can someone please help me out

HP doesn't have Win 7 drivers because when you click "I don't see my Operating system" this is what you are told.
If the computer came with Win 7 on it, contact the seller.

ok well i found the solution by going to windows updates, by now i have a new problem, my computer keeps randomly freezing
