i know this has been asked before but...

    ok so ive been lookin for a few mins on the maximum amount of ram (phycial) that xp pro (non 64 ) can run and have not come up with any good results will some one plz answer this for me... thnkz

    it's really up to what your mobo can handle. most mobos only support 4 gigs of ram max. as for xp pro, i don't know why you'd need over 2 gigs at max.

    thanks .. thats what i thought i was talking with a friend hes said that xp has problems running to much ram... so before i go out and max my mobo out too 4 gbs i need a soild answer....

    oh and to answer your question ......why run xp with more than 2gbs...

    that simple ...lol because i have open slots on my board... lol

    No prob. I'm currently running 2gigs of ram in my rig and it absolutely screams. Let me know how your rig ends up performing with the new hardware!
