I was trying to remove spyware and I must have done something wrong b/c I can no longer access the internet. Can someone please help me find a way to get it back.
Every time I restart my computer I get a pop-up that says Access Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close...does this have something to do with it?

I am using Windows XP, I have Norton protecting my computer and scan with Norton, Ad-aware, and Spybot. I was getting extremely frustrated with my home page changing and pop-ups that I downloaded Hijack this. I would get rid of the things that I knew were viruses (trojans?) but they would keep coming back.

Well I obviously deleted something that I should not have, because now I can't access the internet at all, and as said below, my computer say's that Access Manager can't run. I don't know if this is why I can't use the internet.

    Please Help

Firstly Hi-Jack is a powerful program and what you fixed is gone for good.
Go to System Properties/Device Manager/chk to see if you have any yellow question marks under your modem or network adapters.

I checked both modem & network adapters and there was no question mark posted. Under modem I have "toshiba software modem" & under network adapters I have "Intel(R) Pro/100 VE Network Connection" & "Intel(R) Pro/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter"
