I lost my Run Command??

I already know what you are thinking "god a noob again, i have to tell him that its unchecked on the start menu." I already now that. Its not even there, no check box. I also cant Windows key+r it, nothin comes up. The only "run" i can open is in my Ctrl+Alt+Delete/Task Manager then click on the user tab, then opening File and then New Task(Run). Is there a windows repair command? or anything i can do.

 

I assume you mean you've tried:

+ Right-click the Taskbar and select Properties.
+ Select Start Menu.
+ Click on Customize.
+ Click on Advanced.
+ Look for a check box for Run command in the option window. Check the box.

ok try this:

1. Open gpedit by double clicking on 'gpedit.msc' (C:\WINNT\system32\gpedit.msc)
2. Open 'User configuration' -> 'Administrative Templates' ->'Start Menu & Toolbar'
3. In the right pane find 'Remove Run from start menu' and double click on it
4. Chose 'Disable' and push OK button
5. This should sove your problem
