I lost something

Ya, I am always losing something or someone. I have been good the last few days. Actually, yesterday I lost my sandwich. I was wondering a round, trying to eat at the same time, seen something that needed tending to and put my plate down. I found it after. I had put it in the cupboard so I could free up my hands, as I had a load of laundry in and the were needing to be hung out.

Well, I will let you know later what I have managed to lose today. It's after ten here and now my day is beginning. Gotta run.

 

it might be the 2nd cup of what ever you drink, to wake up with. I always keep the thr first one right by my side, meaning it don't get lost. Sometimes when I'm up and moving around, the 2nd one gets lost........wobbles

 

Well I lost 2 hours of hiking today. Seems it's a bit cloudy and the bugs are out. Well, I did spend them in here, so I really didn't lose them. I have to log out now. I will be back in about three and a half. If I lose something in the mean time, I'll make sure I mention it in this thread later. Never know, maybe you will find it for me.

I always seem to lose something. Normally it is what I am drinking. Half the time I finish drinking it without even realizing, then I wonder around my house looking for where I put my bottle of water.

I am going to have to try them. Beats spending cash on slimy worms. Besides, the fish love cleaning off my hook anyway. I think it has to do with the fact I really don't pay any attention. I'm just there for the sun and air.

Yes, on lures, but I don't know if it is the lure or WD40 that's working.

Musky, only one person in here has any pics of me and that is the way I intend to keep it. I am sorry, but it's just the way it will stay. Now if you want pics of the fish, I will do my best. Take a while for me to get things developed and then I have to take them to my sisters....(couple hours drive) have her scan them and then pull them of a cd. But for you, I will if it's the fish you want.

I'll give them a shot. Hey, you have any tips on how to remove the pin bones? I have used needle nose pliers, but that makes such a mess out of the meat. This lake is suppose to have black bass and walleye.

 

Yes, they're the easiest to fillet.
Start with a real flexible sharp knife (Rapala makes a good one) & cut down along the dorsel fin till you feel bone. Cut along the bone from the top of the head to the tail fin. Follow the contour of the rib cage down till you can see the white of the skin. Continue from the rib cage, downwards, working your way to the bottom of the tail fin. Voilla!! One fillet. Do the same on the other side.

When fishing, which hasen't been for a long, long time, use my Patented (literally) synthetic bait. Works a treat no refrigeration required, works on all species that we've found thus far.

Re filleting: You can open up the bony fishies and get the rolling pin to the back of them. Most of the little bones just pop out then.



....I now remember why I don't eat fish much. I am Paranoid of the bones.

Phantom, sounds like you need to take a day off and go fishing. I'm going to post my fish pics, and I would love to see your catch. If your fish is bigger, I hope you have a extra room, cause next time I need to get away, I am going where the big fish are biting. Oh ya, I'll bring my own liquids.

Wish the mods and admin would consider lifting that to atleast 5. Some sites don't have a time limit. I like the no limit thing.

 

Well it used to be a 24hr time limit, which wasn't too bad, I thought.
