I lost track of time

lol, I went out tonight and lost track of time. Talk about getting in late. If I was still a kid and living at home, I would be grounded right now.

 

Well, since you're now home, you can be officially grounded for the rest of the night.

How's that?

 

Maybe you should ground me for the weekend too. Seems I need a little extra rest.

 

OK. You're grounded for the weekend, missy!

I'd ask you to ground me too, but I've got some running around I've got to do tomorrow.

 

Thanks G.T., I really need the rest. So how about I ground you for sunday? You could spare that day, couldn't you?

 

I can, unless the rain quits, in which case I need to work in the yard. I could get into a rain delay.

 

Well, if it rains on sunday, I am blaming you. So if it rains, your grounded.

 

Fair enough. But then, if it's raining THERE, it probably won't be raining HERE, in which case I still need to work. Oh well, we'll figure it out.

 

Saturday night before you go to bed, check your weather channel. Let me know what it said, and if there is rain in the forecast for sunday, your grounded so just stay in bed until noon. If it is to be sunday, well, I order you to do your chores.

 

Works for me. Currently they're showing rain estimate at 30%. Which around here means it WILL rain somewhere, but not necessarily where YOU are. Weather here is a real crap-shoot.

 

Here, no one ever know. Even our local radio station covers all their bases.

"Seems we have a lot of days with sun, possible cloud. Highs, getting up there and we see a chance of rain."

That is mainly our daily forecast for summer months. This way, they are never wrong.

 

I know I am grounded but I am stepping out for a bit tonight. I may be in really late, so don't wait up for me.

 

I may as well join you. I've teid to go to sleep three times. Given it up as a bad joke. This Flu bout is playing havock with me.

It's 5:40a.m. now, anyway no point in sleeping anymore.
