I Love This Gun!

I took Jesus and Arf to the range today. Jesus is working properly now with his new mag spring. Way to go big Green, wonderful quality control.:mad Federal Flight Control shells are the way to go for HD shotguns.

BUT, I almost achieved redneck nirvana today. 60 rounds fired in under 3 mins, all in a 3.5" group at 25 yards. I need a range with longer lanes... :guns:guns I love the AR platform! New Trijicon sites are very accurate. Need to rig up some heatsincs on the barrel, it gets very hot.

Actually, 'Big Green' AKA Remington put the wrong magazine spring in Jesus. They sent me the correct one, which is 2" longer than the one it came with. So actually, I got Jesus up to specs. :-D Well, added a Hougue overmolded stock and front grip, and a light with a pressure switch... I don't do a whole lot of 'modding' to firearms.

Now Arf is going to get some modifications later on. I love the Trijicon sites, WAY more accurate than the stock ones. Getting a 3 point sling for Arf, she already has a custom dust cover. Contemplating a light for Arf as well, not sure. Worried it might through off the balance.

Now, in the somewhat near future when I get into reloading ammo, some modding will be done. (although not really overclocking, as doing much of that with explosive stuff might get you a visit from Darwin...) But it is neat how you can experiment with different weights, shapes, and types off projectiles.

Hey Fred. I have to say, you're a better shot than I am, probably. Then again, when I go shooting, It's just as fun for me to make 1 hit, as it is for me to hit with a whole clip. I went bowling over the weekend, had a blast.. Pun intended.

Down to 400 rounds and 8 pins. Going to need to put some money into my hobby soon, haha.

Dang Paxton, you must have a hell of an arm to get that gun down the lane to hit the pins...

I really miss being able to shoot outdoors in a safe area. All the places I used to shoot at have houses on them now.
