I need a boot antivirus

    does any1 know of a anti virus that i can use to scan on boot for win98.
    i tryed avast but the boot scan option is greyed out on all my 98 machines. thanks, soap

    Hrmm, you may want to try waiting more than 2 minutes between posts to give us a chance.

    Most popular AV programs give an option to create boot & scanning floppies to allow virus scanning upon boot-up. Go to this site for some more information on how to go about this:

    i tryed that alrady too. where do u click to create the disk? dont say rescue disk cause thats not what i want.

    Not talking about floppies or rescue disks. AVG can be installed so that it scans your computer when you boot up-- before the OS even loads.
