Hey, I have a list of power supplies that I want to get. I dont want to spend too much money, as many people do. I just need a really good PSU to power my ATI 2900 to its fullest. I dont need a crossfire one cause I am only going to be using one card.

    I searched up in newegg

Any info on what seem like the better PSU would be awesome. Thanks guys ^_^

Does ATI publish a stated requirement for a minimum capacity power supply? If so, what is it? What is your current power supply? Can you give us a general idea of your desired spending limit?

Here's one I bought about 8 months ago and have been please with: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817104953. The total cost, with shipping, is $51.83.

I have to Agree with usafveteran, I also have a FSP Group PSU (blue storm 500W) and I'm very happy with it

This is where I get my power supplies from, using only the Chiefmax 600 watt supplies. They aren't SLI, but they have just about every other power connector you could want.

Hey, yah , sorry forgot to add some info, ehehe

My current power supply is just a 500w, but its not "certified" as a PSU for the ATI 2900. Card keeps trying to suck power but cant o_O ehehe

I was thinking of spending below $180, and really no higher than $200. I found a couple good 750w at pretty good prices, I just wasnt sure if I should go higher in wattage. My friend has a Diamond 2900 and Diamond recommended a 750 for just one card, although I think they might be exaggerating since he has used a 550 and has run the card fine until some of the new games came out.

I was manly looking at this PSU

Its a great price, seems to me, and it has some good reviews. and its also certified by ATI o_O

This was the list that my friend gave me ... he out of those he said I should look at them.

Any ideas? I mean, I believe the one I chose seems decent, and well adequate.
