    Hello fellow geeks,

I'm building up a rig and currently looking for a casing that both looks great and doesn't cost more than 30~40$. Just post a bunch of them and we'll see what we get.

    Thanks !

    40 dollars including shipping?

newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146058 is $20 more but it looks well worth with and free ship. Remember you get want you pay for. Sorry I couldn't hyperlink it. There seems to be an issue at the moment with doing that.

Nothing is worse than a very expensive case with NO room to work!

For years now, I've used nothing but the "Pac Man" case.
It has four 5.25" drive bays, two 3.5" drive bays (great for FD's, card readers, etc.)
And in the lower front of the case four hard drive bays.

The new case before I started loading it up.

The Pac-Man case fully loaded and running.
The red fan in the upper drive-bay faceplates cools my main HD that sits on spacers in the top bay.

I have friends all over the country using the same case and they all love it.

Prices range from $29 to $39 depending on who you're doing business with.
My last one came with a good 400w PSU.

Have fun building your new system,
    Shadow :cool

I purchased an NZXT Beta EVO from Newegg back in January 2010. It was $59.99, had free shipping, a $10 promo and a $20 mail in rebate (which took 5 months to get!) bringing the total to $29.99!!!! Newegg regularly has specials like this on various items (including cases), so if you're not in a hurry, a good idea is to get 2 or 3 or 4 different cases in mind, then keep an eye on 'em and see what deals come up. Newegg usually has crazy specials for holidays (right now they have Father's Day deals). Anyway, I LOVE my case!! It's a low-key all black case (all black inside and out). Bottom mounted PSU, 2 USB ports plus eSATA and microphone/headphone jacks are on the top of the case for easy acces, tool-less drive mounts, cooler cut-out in the mobo tray, plenty of room to route cables, 5 mounts for cooling fans (plus one 120mm already mounted up front to cool the HD cage, 2 mounts on top, 2 on the side panel, one in the rear), mesh dust filters, etc etc etc. Check it out: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146059&Tpk=nzxt beta evo (currently $54.99 with free shipping and a $15 rebate = $39.99 total)

Thanks Shadow, this is exactly what I've been looking for :) I can't seem to find it on Google though, what's the exact name?

I would recommend the Cooler Master RC-310-BWN1-GP.

Elite 310 (RC-310) is a mid-tower that accommodates micro-ATX and ATX motherboards, built with a modern black design body and multi-color frame on the front panel. This chassis maintains Elite's pedigree of compact-sized and quality build that would look great in any space.
