I need a job

being a full time father is work all in itself
but I think it has been long enough. . . .
I was the head press mechanic where I used to work five years ago. . .
and I am looking for a new place a new state even to start over. . .
are there any forges near you?

Haven't noticed any around here. Memphis is mostly a giant distribution center.

I'd do a Google search with "forging services" and similar, plus your state name, and look for companies near you.

 

well there is one "near" me but i worked there, but I already worked there
and they have a no rehire thing. . .I was forced to resign because I missed to much work for medical reasons. . .and apparently its not covered by the medical leave act because it was pre existing and blah,blah,blah. . .
and anyothers in state are owned by the same guy(or his wife) they own four

and I really wouldnt know haow to be more specific on a job search. .if I am too specific it won't find anything

but thats what I am doing now

 

That forge is just a species of stamping press. Have you considered jobs outside of the forging industry, such as in sheet metal stamping, perhaps? It's worth looking into the possibility.

 

Or in machinerly maintenance more broadly. I'm guessing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical maintenance on the forges. Those are the ingredients that power most everything industrial.

 

as far as that goes yes any industrial maint. would be good
I have alot of PLC training and that seems to be on everybodies list

the thing is. . .I also have alot of induction heating knowledge
and usually that is only applicable in for making steel glow red friggn hot
