I need a Workstation Identifier Program.

I am in need of a program that i can load on to a workstation using the IP address or Computer name, an it will make an alert or display message to tell who ever is around the computer to call I.T. immediately. I had on that would make the comoputer whistle (through the speakers) and flash a txt box with my name and phone number on it. Sadley i dont know what happend to it. Does anyone know of such a program? I really need one, in a hospital with 700+ computers. I dont want to have to check room to room.
