i saw it at fry's and thought, "oh, i remember reading about this. this is the card with uber sound quality, better than the av-710 which already in itself pounces over the audigy in sound quality... heck, i'll think about it"

now it's in my computer and i'm very very reluctant on giving it up... or as the case may be for my ears: so because of the 0404, i decided to buy myself a $100 headphone amp.... so yeah, if i EVER mention again that i'm thinking about buying anything audio-related please do me a big favor and STOP ME!!! PLEASE!!! thanks cuz it will only get more expensive from here

Now that is cool.

But still, I want a M-Audio Delta44. Maybe even a 96 (waaw). Would be immense.

And as my grandad says, Audio is a sliding scale of price and performance increace. You pay a small ammount, get bad performance, spend a little more, you get a dramatic increace. Spend a lot more, and the increase is less, more and more until you can hardly tell the difference.

In other words, its expensive heh
