I have a problem at work, which I believe I may have tracked down to Nvidia drivers & need this proved if possible. I am running WinXP, both "Home" and "Pro" one PC has a GeForce graphics card the other PC has onboard graphics.

The problem occurs, if you reboot your PC with the monitor disconnected. After the reboot plug the monitor in & it won't come on! Even after a hard reset it still won't come on. But the machine is running as I can get a picture from the TV out output.

The only way to get it working on the VGA again is to boot into safe mode and do a system restore.

Anybody got any ideas for a fix?

update your vid card drivers? (Use driver cleaner pro then install the new ones)
