I need help ASAP!!

hi all,

I recently had an ACer aspire 7000 with windows vista,...i basically got sick of vista and re-formmated the drive and put Windows Xp on it,...i got the sound and working without a problem,.....but various drivers that i had on it before were no longer being detected by 'Everest Diagnostics',..which i got off this site ,...only a few months ago and have even downloaded the lastest edition of the free home edition,.....and before i re-formmated my HDD,..i did up a diagnostics report and as i loaded everest,..it had said something like this program is not up to the process of of diagnosing or something like that anyway,....basically,..im missing the follow drivers if not more,......

1-Nvidia geforce go 6100
2-broadcom wireless LAN
3-i have an SD card slot in it and dont know where to get the drivers

thats my main ones,..there is a few more but if you could possibly give me a very good diagnoses program or links or advice on what to do,....

any and all help will be noted and taken into account,...

I just reverted a HP Laptop from Vista to XP Pro. Not sure if this is going to be much help, but here is something to go on. When reverting from Vista back to XP, alot of the drivers depending on the year the XP product you're using was released, might not be there. As far as I know there is no driver that are Vista only. I could be wrong, just haven't found one yet.

Try updating windows using the Custom mode, should find the needed drivers for you to install. If it doesn't you might need to go to your Device Manager, open the needed device and try to do a driver update through it.

thanks for the reply mate,...the thing is,obtaining drivers is not reli a problem as such but what i want is very very good diagnostics program to detect my hardware and then i can look for the drivers for it,..cus im using everest at the moment and it isint detecting all of my hardware,..its only detecting my installed hardware ,..i want 1 that can diagnose my uninstalled hardware if ya know what i mean,..!!!!!!!!
