    john0908,
Welcome to MajorGeeks :) . Sorry to hear about the problems with your new PC. You said that your computer hung up while you were playing a game and that you pressed the reset button, and now nothing. When you try to turn it on, is there any computer activity at all? Do the hard drive and cdrom light come on, as well as the fans in the computer?
Without knowing more, I can only suggest to make sure that your computer is turned off, then turn off the power strip that you have it plugged in to. Let it stay off for a couple of minutes, then turn it back on, and try starting your computer. Sometimes this will reset the power supply, and could possibly get your computer running again.
I'm sure that one of the more experienced members will be online before long to offer assistance and help, if my suggestion didn't work :)

Agree with above, 1st overcome this.
    >Can you now get into BIOS and stay there ?
If the PC has HT, make sure it is enabled in BIOS, cause if not, the processor will run hotter by at least 10c most of the time, even if it's idle.

Then,....Your PC was on whole day, it may have a heat problem or more serious..PSU not up to it, Memory, processor..

The cooling is easy to prove:Open the sidecover, and aim a 220V fan right at it...This is the coolest your whole PC ever will get.....Just keep in mind that if the heatsink is fitted poorly on processor, it may still silently overheat and shut off[I hope].

    Hi,

With what you describe I don,t think MBM would have caused that, in fact it would be a very good idea to monitor your temps.
