I need help for a xp driver!

Hi. I have hp a1700n. It came with windows vista.
I have to use some programms that can only run through xp (like autoCAD.)
I asked my friend, and he installed me a new WD 150GB with xp on it.
So, now, when I turn on the computer, I can choose to turn on either vista or xp by choosing wich hard drive to use. However, there is a one major problem. According to my friend, it is really hard to find the driver for the internet for the xp. (Though I am not sure what he mean..) He said that he could find all the other drivers except for the internet thing. So, the xp works fine except for the internet. (Imagine a computer without internet! lol) He also said that the mother board is from nvidia, which he never have seen before. Can somebody please please help me? I checked the hp website, and they only have vista's. Is this enough information? -_-; sorry.. i am not that good at computer.

By internet thing, I can only guess that he ment your Ethernet drivers, which allow you to connect to your modem and then the internet?

Are you on broadband or Dialup?

If Broadband then these are the Chipset Drivers as used by ASUS who make that motherboard and Nvida who make the Chipset ( MCP51 ) for HP, they include the Ethernet drivers etc, but I cannot guarantee that HP may not have changed some specs from default and the drivers for XP may not work.

I use COX internet, just to let u know.
