I need help. Please.

Hello, i have just been givin a computer and ive updated many items and well when i tried to play a video game (World of Warcraft) i get a message saying i need to update my drivers. I would like to know how to update them for free.

 

All your drivers CAN be gotten for free, either from your PC or Motherboard's sites.
First, we need a little info, then we can tell you where to go.
(LOL, Sorry didn't mean it like that)

Post a make and model # if your PC is manufactured (Dell, Gateway, HP, etc.)

Use Everest to get a report of your system’s hardware, OS, and drivers. Upload the report as an attachment

When Everest is done scanning, click "Report" at the top of the Everest window, click next to get to "Report Profile", select "Hardware related pages", click next, select "Plain Text", click "Finish". Then when it is done processing, click "Save To File". Save it where you want to. (I would use Desktop.)
Click "Go Advanced" in the MG reply box, scroll down a little way until you see "Manage Attachments", click it, browse to your file, click "Upload", and close the window. Then submit the post. You may have to also type something in the reply box, like, "Here's my report.", so that it will submit.

 

When i click on the link it sends me to the right place but which one do i click because i got a program called registry mechanic and it didnt have the right things as u described and the other one i clicked gave me driver agent. so i didnt get Everest. so did i click the wrong one.

i think i messed up again, i saved it but now i dont know where this part of the step is, "Click "Go Advanced" in the MG reply box".

 

In the box that you type your replies, there is a "Go Advanced" button on the bottom.
That will take you to a more detailed reply. Scroll down a bit and you will see "manage attachments"
Click that and browse to your saved Everest report. Click "upload", then close that window. Your attachment should show if you preview the post.

 

ya i am not seeing where the replies are, are they in the report i saved or in everest after the scan is finished?

I'm guessing that it is probably your Display (AGP) driver that WOW wants updated.
Download the driver.
It is in .zip format, so you will need to extract it and double click on the setup.exe file. then just follow the instructions.
You have an older PC and that may not meet the minimum requirements for WOW.
