I Need Help Please

I have lost my Active desktop. I have no start bar either. I can only use task manager to do anything. I lost it during a power outage. Can someone please help me? I have tried registry cleaners and also one care live. nothing works. Thank you very much for you time....

 

go into your task manager - application tab - new task - type in explorer.exe

see if that works out for you

 

That seems to be missing also...I think that may be alot of my problems. Thanks for the reply though....Mick

I once lost my task bar as well, but that was a result of my uxtheme.dll somehow becoming corrupted.
