    Hello fellow geek!

I'm in the process of cleaning every little corner of my PC when I stumbled upon an old mood logic install (I believe it came with some software I installed with my RCA Lyra MP3 player).
The thing is when I try and remove the software with windows "add & remove", I get this error message:

So I tried to reboot in safe mode to remove it with "add & remove" but the same message appears. I also tried killing applications in task manager but it didn't help either. I don't want to end up simply erasing the folder, so I was wondering if any of you had any solution? Should I try removing it with a registry cleaner? I can't seem to find what application windows is talking about (there is no mood logic instance in task manager).

I believe it's mood logic version 1.0.0.5 (running on Win XP pro SP2)
i'm also including a snapshot of mood logic's folder:

any help would be greatly appreciated (I googled my problem but couldn't find anything... so far).

    thx

It sounds like you will have to manually delete it.

Make sure you have hidden files and folders showing, then do a search and delete all files and folders using something like POCKET KILLBOX.

Do a search in the Registry also, but make sure you take all necessary precautions.

Once it's removed, I suggest you use something like CCleaner and RegSeeker.

Zaar,I had an instance where I could not un install Trend Antivirus corporate Edition. It continually asked for a passwaord..
Id bought a s/h laptop with this on it .It burnt my butt everytime it started as it was not up to date-solution,nuke it!!

    I downloaded Cybershredder from MG.
I drag and dropped the individual files to CS.It annihalated the program.
I was concerned as to repocussions later on,but Ive not had any problems at all. This was done 2 months ago.

It important to disable the program, if its in use,no delete..

I also tied BFU(Brute force uninstaller)But was not successful.I felt this was a comouflaged version of the windows un installer..

Another instance where Cybershredder worked its charms-Ill call her Kate-A bloody annoying video advert that popped up everytime we went on to the net..
My mate would delete her and she would pop up again.Took him a copy of CS ,did a serch for kate-full file path-and she was all over.Dragged and dropped Kate into CS-Kates now hounding someone else with her annoying drivel...
    Hope this helps you,N

Thx a lot for the help guys, I will try and work something out.

ps: isn't weird that the error message states: the "application name here" is running, usually windows don't simply say: "application name here" is still running ?
    the seems weird here... anyway.
