I need help with Age of Empires 1&2

Hey everyone, I just bought a computer and I was trying to play the Age of Empires 1 & 2 games on it...

When I start the game...i see the cinematics but after that I wont see the main page...I can hear the sounds and musics of the main page but I will not see anything...the screen is black.....

So can someone help me with this game???

I would really appreciate it..

My comp. specs are:
AMD athlon 5600 (2.8Ghz)
3 gigz or RAM, 500GHz of space.
Windows Vista Premium
nvidia GE Force 6150 SE

 

Hi Jay and welcome to MG Right click on your game icon and under properties there is a tab for compatibility.Set it for win xp compatibility and hit apply. close properties window right click icon for gameand run as admin. Also make sure game is patched if patches are available. Make sure video drivers are up to date on pc also. Hope that helps
