i need help with my internet

my old pc is a dell with 1.8 p4, 512md ram and 80gig HD i have two PC's at home and two separate connections to the net, on both i use the same type of modem Starbridge Pyxis 210. then the old pc wouldn't go online no more i thought it was the modem but then i changed the modems and neither that helped both modems work fine on my new system. After that i thought it was theethernet card but it detects when the router is plugged or not and says it works well, i've uninstalled it and let windows install it again and nothing happened the same story i reinstalled internet explorer too, it doesn't evevn allow me to go to the 10.0.0.1 of the modem it keeps saying page not found i've run antispyware and virsscan to see if it's related but nothing i even wen't on the USB mode of the router to see if that halps but nothing happened

 

Have you tried dissabling your firewall.
Can you browse the other PC if you have them networked.
Are you using DHCP, if you are try setting up you PC's with a static IP. If your modem is 10.0.0.1 then assign 10.0.0.2 to the PC, subnet mask 255.255.255.0. To find the DNS server get on the pc that can connect to the internet, while conected to the internet open a command prompt and type ipconfig/all, look through the list and find dns server.

Are you able to ping your ISP? (trying to establish whether it's your modem or your browser)
