I Need Help

I need to know how to delete extra screensavers off my computer.

 

What version of Windows? Which Screensavers? The windows default can be removed from Add/Remove Programs and the Windows Setup tab.

 

If they are straight Normal Screen saver find files with the extension .scr and delete them.

Otherwise go through the infestation cleaning process.

May I ask WHAT do LSPFIX, and Winsock Fix, which repair your Network Settings, and CWShredder which removes Cool Web Search have to do with removing Screensavers? That makes no sense.

 

Normal screen savers are just .scr files.

Some honest screen saved might come as a program, and can be removed as you mentioned via the Add/Remove.

However most of the “Extra” screen save that come with “Nice Ladies” etc. are not charitable freewares, they are forms of Spywares and at times when removed might damage the Winsock.

Do you want to embarrass people and ask them What Kind of Screen Saver you would like to remove?
