I need HELP!

Apparently I have been asking the wrong forum areas this problem.I even tried the forum in the Firefox comm.
I used to have IE6 and had a problem with my time on the net being timed out.I took the advice of others and changed my browser to Firefox{downloaded from this site}I cleaned my system for spyware,adware, and others.I re-arranged my firewall to see if that had anything to do with it.I checked the "Read before you Post" as well.I still get an message of "session timed out" and I have to frequntly refresh my page.I have XP Pro ,with firefox being my default browser.
