    I looked everywhere but I couldn't find out how to do this simple thing. I'm trying to make a class in a css file and then in an html file I use that class to change just one sentence.

    http://m.1asphost.com/DesmondP/index.asp

    thats the page and where it says "11/1/04" I want that to be slightly smaller (8px) and italic. The thing is that i wanted to make a class because im going to changing it a lot just for the date like that. (Whenever i post something new actually) and so i want to be able to change it easily maybe by just putting <p> around it or something. But anyways. it doesn't seem to recognize that i want it to change. instead it stays the same.

    Thanks for any help :)

    Hmm... what I'd do is make it a class rather than a tag definition.

    Code:
    p.date { blah; }

    and change your <p> to <p class="date">

    I had done that already but i found out what i did. i had space between the values, so ultimately it didn't work in firefox. i got rid of them and it works now thanks
