Hi, well to get right to the point. i need some help with a very ..interesting rig i have going on here..

so what i have going on is i have a normal modem connected to a belkin router witch i am connected to via wifi. from here i connect to a switch / hub (im not sure witch) via my onboard lan. the hub itself has about 3 computers connected to it.

now this seams like a... not so smart thing todo.. but it works up to this point.
the problem im having is that im trying to get one of the computers connected to the hub to host a server but i can't seam to get the server past the router..

    all the computers get internet
    all ive done sofar is
    1) enabled ip routing
    2) set static ip's
    3) forwarded or w/e the ports on my computer and the router
    4) of corse i turned off all the firewalls

heres a copy of cmd ipconfig /all on bolth computers

to sum up whats going on alittle
basicly all the computers on the hub get internet through the router as my computer
so imo if the server computer goes through me acording to the router it should forward the ports asif it was my computer doing it...right?

I am not sute I understand the description of your topology. But you have 2 networks there: 192.168.0 & 192.168.2. Is this all supposed to be one local network to use a 'server' you've set up?
Routers define networks, so if you have 2 routers there you have 2 networks, so depending on what type of server your setting up you'll need to 'bridge' for lack of a better word the networks.
Or just put them all on the one network. 192.168.0.x

    thanks for the reply.

its more of internet to modem to router to wireless to hub

so the computers on the hub get internet from me who is wireless to the router

    basicly..ya

so i just thought to have the hub leach from me via ICS and it would all work fine

it did.... up untill the point i needed the hub to act on its own..
ive tryed bridging but my wireless seems to hate that and turns itself off..

asfar as the router see's it is that its only one computer comming through 192.168.2.7, so basily blind to the hub...witch makes sence
