i need some help with music file clones

can any one tell me a good prog to remove clones. have tryed a few diffrent ones but still have loads. is there one that can just get rid of music files ?

Hi

Is it that you have duplicate files that you wish to remove, if so try this free application, Duplicate Cleaner which allows you to narrow down your search parameters to a music search, works in XP and Vista (even though it doesnt mention Vista, I tried it and works fine)

Dear Halo,
This clone cleaner you recommended, would it be good to use to search through multiple sources? c: f: e:
I've got a bunch of thumb drives and want to combine/eliminate/find all my duplicate files (docx, ppt, pdf, etc file types)
Supv at FRY's electronics recommende this site for help.

Hi Teastunt

Yes it should do this fine as this app allows you to add mutliple locations and USB drives are supported, but to be effective you would need to plug all the USB thumb drives in at once as it scans all in one go, its nto a retrospective scan in that you can scan one drive then plug in another and scan it for duplicates.

F is my main music HDD and H is a USB thumb drive that I use for my car, just add the drives with the top Select Path thats highlighted in blue and click Add Path so it goes into the right side menu list. Then you can choose file search or music search and you can in the File Search Filter dropdown also add new options of your own like .docx etc
