ok first off i have a problem with the restor and maximize buttons in the topright hand corner of anything you have open. Heres the problem sometimes right when I open something its just in the taskbar and i can't even see it. After a while I found out that i can just right click and maximize it than it ill show up. However when I click on the restore button it just disapears completly off the screen. I wouldn't have a problem with this but its just that I go to gamespot.com and watch lot of movies but i can't wach them and i can't maximize them but i can still hear whats going on. PLZ help me

Now my second problem is that this icon keeps appearing on my desktop no matter how many times i delete it form my desktop and the start menu. It might go away for a couple of day but after a while it just keeps coming back. The icon is some porn thing calles adult lnks daily. I've run ad-aware several times but the damn thing keeps comming back. Can you guys help me?

If its spyware, sometimes Spybot will catch what Ad Aware does not.

When you ran Ad-Aware did it catch and delete the thing?
    Do you use a Firewall?
Is your Internet Explorer the lastest version?
Have you set your Internet Security options to an adequate level?

A couple of things I would check just to rule it out. Right CLick your desktop and choose properties, Click Destop--Customize Desktop--Web tab and see if there is something there with a check box that is checked. By default there will be My Current Home Page with an unchecked box. If there is anything else with a checked box then delete it and reboot. If thats not it check your Add Remove programs for something suspicious and remove it. ( make sure it is something you dont use)

I would try spybot, search and destroy, i have used it as well as adaware, spybot seems to catch alot more than adaware, also make sure you keep them both updated with the most recent lists. Good luck.

    AdAware

AdAware Will not Delete the hidden file that keeps appearing on your desktop.....
Unfortunately I don't know of any free software right now that will remove it....

    Go to : PestPatrol.com
Do their online scan of your machine....and they will have removal instructions and suggestions....I had this on one of my machines at work....it downloads a dialer to your system...from just clicking the ad closed....unavoidable....

After the scan....find out WHERE it is located (the hidden file)
then manually remove it ...you need to right click and delete....it may or may not allow you to do this...if you can't ...then you will need to look for suggested software by Pest Patrol...shareware perhaps...

The best I can think of right now...try it..
