When I bought this PC, I installed some tweak software from MajorGeeks, it had some options and I remember ticking an option that disabled Windows Store.

I can't remember what this piece of software was called cos it was a long time ago, but I want to revert that change and re-enable Windows store. Anyone has an idea what software I'm referring to?

    I run Windows 10.

I keep getting error code: 0x80131500 on windows store because of this.

    Thanks

No, that's not it. I think I found it, quite by accident... I ran "patch my PC", another software I downloaded from MajorGeeks, which shows a list of all my softwares and highlights available updates, and I saw this software called "Simple System Tweaker" on the list. Searching my programs, I can't find this on my PC, though, searching it on this website took me to its page and I do recognise it.

Should this be installed on my PC or should I just re-download it?

Nevermind, disregard that. Simple System Tweak doesn't appear to be the one.

try running troubleshooter through settings to see if that will reactivate Windows Store.

Sorry, I should have mentioned what I have tried.

I ran troubleshooter, it says it finds no issues.

I ran Powershell in Admin mode, and removed and installed WS again following this guide ---> https://winaero.com/blog/how-to-res...windows-10-after-removing-it-with-powershell/

On Windows logo+R, I ran wsreset.exe, that opens up my windows store page (cos for some reason, typing "windows store" on start page yields no results. But it still says it's unable to log on giving the error code 0x80131500

I've reset the regional date and time thing.

Basically everything on the list found on this page: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...80131500/41d2d363-83ee-4b5d-ba43-615ca63bb1bf

I found a few things I installed from MajorGeeks, one of them is called Destroy Windows Spying. I remember running this, but I ran it again and found no option to disable/enable windows store. I remember doing this but not the name of the software.....

If you don't mind editing the registry -
    Run regedit
    Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsStore
If there's a REG_DWORD name RemoveWindowsStore then set the value to 0 (zero) and reboot.

I found a "fix" on this website regarding regedit. There wasn't a folder called WindowsStore on there. I created the folder and the dword reg, set to zero, reboot and nothing. Set to 1, reboot and nothing.

Anyway, the repair tool shared on post #10 seemed to have worked, but I am still getting the initial issue which made me think it was WS access that made it not work, but apparently I was wrong.
