I have a problem with Fire Fox, I will open a page and all is normal but when click on a page link many times it will change the entire look. I do not have the problem in IE! I have looked around the FF site for an answer to no avail. A couple of screen shots below.

It doesn't seems a navigator problem.

It seems as a broken html code (maybe an anchor) somewhere in that page.

Is the problem in any other website? all the websites?

I'd suggest to take a look at the html code, or if you have, the link to check it out.

    Best regards.

Hi thanks for the reply, it happens on several sites. CNN weather when I click to look at the larger map, a few of my club sites and once in awhile right here. I have removed/re-loaded FF twice, no change! It only happens in FF, never in IE and when I tried Chrome it no issue. Aparently it is not something common as I can not find any thing about it anywhere.

Sorry about the screen shots, I did them over twice to get the size that would load.

Try going to menu bar Tools options advanced network and then click the clear cache button see if that fixes the problem.

The screenshots just show the normal page in the first one and the second one is a text mode such as you get from google cache on some sites.

If you hit F5 when you get the text mode screen does it reload the page normally? I don't have an answer just trying to figure out if reloading the page draws it normally.

Wondering if the profile is corrupted? During an update maybe?

When You uninstalled FF did you also "Remove my Firefox personal data and customizations", in other words the profile?

If not, then you might try Creating a new profile. Export or Back up your bookmarks first so you can import or retrieve them in the new profile.

Before creating a new profile, I would try sach2's reload suggestion. And try running Firefox in the "Mozilla Firefox(Safe Mode)" from the Programs menu.

Maybe not much help, but I use IE and this does happen to me occasionally. After trying to troubleshoot, I do lean toward itmortiz's comment about it being html...or something not handling the web page scripts right. So far, I have only noticed it after I've clicked something. Same as you?

Dang. Too slow to "edit" post.
It was to unsub from a store's email list. All was fine until I clicked the "do it" button, then the page fell apart exactly like yours...from what I could tell. BTW, I did try the same page in FF and it worked perfectly. Go figure. Will watch your thread for an answer...hopefully!
