I need soundcard recommendations.

    I'm going to be working with a band to record some of their live shows and someone has the microphones that I need to use. Could I just use the internal soundcard on my laptop or should I buy a more professional USB sound card? If so, what do you guys recommend?

    external usb sound card is basically restricted to Sound blaster.
