I need to edit Audio wav files...

    I tried Audacity but it doesn't seem to clip out the stuff I need. I used Sound Recorder that is built into Microsoft, but that takes a lot of hunting, pecking, saving, adding the original back in to cut out the next part. Is there a simpler program or am I just totally un-teachable? Thanks, RSS

    I was going to recommend Audacity, but you've been there..... try Wavosaur. It's free and folks swear by it. I haven't used it personally, but it has high ratings (4.9 out of 5 stars), so here's the link:
