I no longer get any sound...

First of all let me say thank you for doing this website and providing the information that provide. I no longer have any virus activity on my computer. I went through the steps to have malware removed from my computer earlier today and now I am unable to get any sound. I run a recording system from my computer, (Reason & Pro Tools) so this is not good for me. The computer says that my sound device (M-Audio Fast Track Pro) is enabled and working properly, but when I look in the control panel under sound/audio there is nothing there and no place to add anything. Any help that can be offered is greatly appreciated.
