I really need some help here please!

My sister left Canada to live in her fiance's country, and she left behind this printer for me it is a canon BJC-600 color bubblejet printer, now the question is she did not have the software or the hook-ups for it the plug in and the part that plugs into the tower does anyone know where these can be picked up I think I have the one plug that plugs from my printer into the tower, but I do not have the one that plugs into the wall and in the printer I live in canada and maybe someone can help me please guide me to which store i can go too, also I do not have any instructions is there anyone that can help me with getting instructions from a site somewhere?
A friend of mine wanted to trade her lexmark printer for this canon printer, which printer is better quality? and should I follow through with this trade as they have the software and and such?
Just one more question where can I buy printer cartridges here in canada for the printer?

Whether the lexmark printer is better quality than the canon depends on what model the lexmark is.....
