I really need some help..

    My computer has the Elitebar in it, :rolleyes: and I have read and tried different things, and still can't get rid of it.Can anyone help?Thanks in advance

    oh yeah, running Windows ME.

    I have went thru the steps on the read first thread.
    I opened up hidden files and folders.I also unchecked the hide file ext. and protected operating system files. I then run HJT and selected the 2 boxes where the ELITEBAR was located(02 and 03), I then clicked fix.I ran another check and it was gone.I then rebooted in safe mode.I ran HJT again and ELITEBAR was back, so I checked the 02 and 03 again and clicked fix.Then rebooted in normal mode. Ran Spybot S&D and it finds them again.Run HJT again, and Elitebar is still there. What am I doing wrong??? Spybot will not fix it....

    Post your HJT log as a .txt file attachment. Make sure it is version 1.98.2 and that it is not running from your Desktop or any temp directory.
