I've recently started using Opera and Firefox browsers because Microsoft was p'ing me off so much.

However, I do want to use MS-IE occasionally because I experience page loading problems and I think they are non-IE related.

However, since installing Opera and Firefox, MS-IE starts appears for a milli-second then dissapears like it crashed without an error message.

Anyone know why and how I can fix this?

    Thanks

I'm not able to tell you how to solve the actual IE problem, but there is an add-on within Firefox that you can click to switch between IE and Firefox WITHIN the Firefox browser itself. This will basically allow you to view pages that have loading problems in Firefox and require IE. You can download it at...

If you look again, the two links are not the same.
Glad you got it figured out, though.

Did you check the box at one time to make Firefox your default browser, if so...and you want to use IE for some reason, then you will have to open it from the start menu.

Unless I jumped the gun here, and you are saying that IE will not work under any circumstances!?!?

I'm using MS-Win XP Home w/SP2 - I update manually but I do it at least twice a week checking on the site.

Has anyone got any idea why IE wont load on my machine now?

Same with Virus and Spyware checking in which I use PC-Cillin fully paid up as my main security system with their firewall and active cable modem monitoring. I combine that with CCleaner, Ad-Aware SE Personal, CW Shredder, Spybot, RemoveIT Pro XT - SE, Spyware laster, Pagedfrg and Hijack This.

I also take oxycontin and valium so If I do get a virus and my HD wipes itself destroying years of data, Mp3 files, video collections, irreplaceable documents etc.etc. I really don't care about it.

OxyContin and Valium. Two friends which make anti-virus software obsolete.

    Regards,

    Deoxy.
