I suck at DeadSpace2

:cry Yup... it's true.... I truly do suck at DeadSpace2 on my PC. I even have it set to the easiest mode possible, and I suck. Big time. I get killed in under 30 seconds.... no, I'm lying to try to look less sucky.... I get killed in about 15 seconds, 20 seconds if I run like hell and zig and zag and shake and jump.... what the hell?!?!?!?!?!!!!????!!?!? Where am I supposed to go right at the start of the game? I'm in a straight-jacket (in the game, not in my house, but that's probably next) and have no way to kill anybody (again, in the game, but this will probably happen here at home right before the straight-jacket)... so WTF???!!!!?!?!?!!!??!?! Any help?

I havn't got it yet, am getting very soon though so I can't really help, but... not sure if you played the first one and also not sure if they changed it but you used to be able to swing quite a powerful melee attack... Oh wait... you're in a straight jacket :-D
